Being diagnosed with T1D can be overwhelming, leaving children feeling isolated and alone. That's why Breakthrough T1D has Rufus, the bear with T1D. A comforting companion during those difficult early days, Rufus helps children understand their diagnosis and reminds them that they're not alone. With special patches to help explain testing and administering insulin, he's a friend who truly understands.

How does it work?
